Kavulic-Salazar
Kerrie L. Salazar of Virginia became the bride of Brady Kavulic of Brownsville, in a ceremony celebrated Sept. 25 at the Rock Spring Congregational United Church of Christ in Arlington, Va. Major Harden White heard the exchange of marriage vows.
The bride is the daughter of Max P. Sr. and Janina Salazar of Manassas Park, Va. The groom is the son of Andrew and Roxanne Kavulic of Brownsville.
The bride’s grandmother, Rosa Bermudez of Nicaruaga, and the groom’s grandmother Agnes Kavulic from Labelle were in attendance. Louis and June Mathers of California and Joseph Kavulic of Labelle, grandparents of the groom, were in remembrance.
Yorvska Salazar was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cristina Alicea, Rachel Newman, April Perera, Lisa Porter and Corinna Shapard. Jocelyn Bermudez and Ashley Gutierrez were junior bridesmaid and flower girl.
The best men were Adam Kavulic and Joe Mikluscak. Groomsmen were Jason Gillis, Bryan Rohrer, Max Salazar and Tim Weese. Gregory Ewing and Kevin Gutierrez were junior groomsmen. Ring bearer was Klayton Ewing.
A reception was held at the Loews L’Enfant Plaza Hotel in Washington, D.C.
The bride earned a bachelor of arts degree in government and history from the University of Virginia. She will receive her masters of public policy from George Mason University in May.
The groom is a graduate of Bethlehem Center High School and earned a bachelor of science in business management from California University of Pennsylvania. He is employed with LCC International.
The couple will reside in the D.C. area upon completion of their new home.
