Vera Picturna McSheffery, 90 years, of Smiley, Uniontown, Pa., died Thursday, February 24, 2005, in Mount Saint Macrina Manor, Uniontown.

She was born October 29, 1914, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Clemens and Ursula Picturna.

Her parents and her two sisters have preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Edward McSheffery; son, Kenneth McSheffery and his wife, Rose, of Smiley, Uniontown, Pa.; three grandchildren: John and Laura McSheffery, Eddie and Jamie McSheffery, Roxanne and Kevin Kelly; and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 6 p.m. and on Monday, February 28, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows a 10 a.m. in Ss. Cyril & Methodius Roman Catholic Church, 50 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, with the Rev. Father Andrew M. Kawecki as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, Fairchance.

Parish Wake Service will be held this evening at 5:45 p.m.
