ARD program

The following people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program between Jan. 28 and Feb. 17 in Fayette County Court. The program is generally for first-time, non-violent offenders. It offers them an opportunity to serve a term of probation, in exchange for having their court record expunged.

Those in the program for driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) generally have to participate in the county’s alcohol safe-driving school and can be required to forfeit their license for a period of time.Ericka Lashan Jones, 27, of Belle Vernon was admitted to ARD for 12 months for possession with intent to deliver drugs.

Jeremy Paul Savage, 23, of Connellsville was admitted to ARD for 24 months for receiving stolen property and was ordered to make $250 in restitution to Laura and Robert Locke and $1,807.97 to Erie Insurance Company.

Daniel Lee Benyi, 21, of Clarksville was admitted to ARD for six months for possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use.

Alan Cramer, 18, of Uniontown was admitted to ARD for six months for possession of a weapon on school property.

Warren Kiefer, 22, of McClellandtown was admitted to ARD for 24 months for criminal mischief.

Michael Wayne Stone Jr., 19, of Uniontown was admitted to ARD for six months for possession of marijuana.

Lynn Curcio, 28, of Fayette City was admitted to ARD for 12 months for DUI.

Anthony Derosa Jr., 40, of Uniontown was admitted to ARD for six months for DUI.

Mary Alice Mellinger, 42, of Everson was admitted to ARD for six months for DUI.

Lorie Ann McGee, 31, of Fairchance was admitted to ARD for six months for DUI.

Richard Foster Shaffer Sr., 50, of Uniontown was admitted to ARD for six months for DUI.

Ferne Michelle Prinkey, 31, of Connellsville was admitted to ARD for six months for DUI.

Gregory St. John Jr., 36, of Brownstown, Mi., was admitted to ARD for six months for DUI.

Mario Albert Mancini, 20, of Uniontown was admitted to ARD for 12 months of possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use.

Constance D. Armel, 37, of Fairbank was admitted to ARD for 24 months for receiving stolen property. He was ordered to make $500 in restitution to Bernard Yahanink, $627.62 to George Zambelli and $4,198.85 to Erie Insurance Co.

Daniel Ryan Goodwin, 22, of White was admitted to ARD for six months for DUI.
