Vehicle struck

Sondra L. Lewis, 23, told state police a driver attempted to pass her along Route 119 northbound Thursday, struck her vehicle’s passenger side and kept driving. Police said Lewis lost control of her vehicle and struck a concrete barrier, but she was not injured.

Criminal mischief logged

State police said someone spray painted graffiti onto the exterior walls and two storage trailers of the Bethesda Christian Store and broke three windows on one of the trailers sometime between Feb. 20 and 22.

Harassment charged

State police said Jeffery David Wiles, 40, was charged with harassment after an alleged incident involving Bobbie Victoria Wiles, 38, Feb. 20 at their Lyones Avenue home. He was taken to the Fayette County Prison on an unrelated bench warrant, police said.

No one injured

State police said a vehicle driven by Tiffany Albright, 23, flipped over along Walnut Hill Road Thursday at 11:50 a.m. Neither Albright nor her passenger, Kara Jean Hollis, 21, were injured, police said.

Utility pole struck

State police said Donald B. Kooser, 30, of West Leisenring lost control of his vehicle along West Crawford Avenue Thursday at 6:10 p.m. and struck a utility pole. Kooser was not injured, police said.

Borough police cited Janet Burge, 63, of Masontown after she allegedly backed her minivan into a car owned by Dwayne Spike Jr. while the vehicle was parked outside Klondike Lanes.

State police said a 10-year-old boy was cited for harassment after he struck an 11-year-old boy in the back of the head in a recent incident.

Patricia Triplett of 3 Virginia Ave. told borough police someone punctured two tires on her vehicle sometime late Feb. 20.

Borough police cited Sabrina Cullen, 19, of Uniontown for underage drinking after an alleged disturbance Feb. 17 at 3 Court Ave.

Man charged

Borough police said Leo Overton, 25, was charged with two counts of burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespass after he allegedly entered Fort Mason Village Feb. 15 and broke a window in an apartment belonging to an ex-girlfriend. Overton also allegedly slashed tires on the woman’s car the next day, police said.

Alice Blake of 62 Whiteman Ave. told city police someone broke the window on her front screen door sometime Thursday night.

City police said two vehicles collided on Fayette Street at 10:30 a.m. Police said one of the drivers allegedly fled the scene before they could respond.

City police said John Christopher, address not available, was cited for public drunkenness and released after police received calls of a man staggering around on Beeson Avenue at 5:27 p.m. Friday.

City police said Michael Fetsko of Vanderbilt was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police, reckless endangering of another, resisting arrest and aggravated assault after an incident allegedly occurred between Fetsko and a police officer at the intersection of Thomas and Connellsville Streets at 5:35 a.m. Saturday.

City police said Stephen Sawka of Uniontown was cited for disorderly conduct after Sawka allegedly got into a fight with another man in the Lawton Avenue area Saturday at 8:01 a.m.

Wendy Price of 91 Varndell St. told city police someone stole the remote car starter out of her vehicle Saturday at 11:36 p.m.

City police charged Bernard Richardson, 45, of Hiller with driving under the influence of alcohol and they also picked him up for an outstanding warrant out of Allegheny County after a traffic stop during the early morning hours of Saturday.

Charges pending

Charges of possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to deliver and underage drinking are pending against a 20-year-old Coolspring Street man after police searched him and allegedly found $375 in cash and a plastic bag containing 5.9 grams of suspected cocaine in his right front jeans pocket.

Police said he was allegedly one of four or five people fighting outside a South Street bar around 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers allegedly found the man near a vehicle outside the bar with fresh blood on his white T-shirt and blood on his right arm and hand.

Police had a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu with a broken windshield and registered to Robin Lininger of Carmichaels towed to Joby’s Gulf after the fight on Sunday.

City police said driving under the influence of alcohol charges are pending against a Murray Avenue man after a traffic stop at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Murray Avenue around 8 p.m. on Saturday.

City police charged Brandy L. Friend, 25, of 153 Coolspring St. with corruption of minors, conspiracy to commit simple assault and harassment, propulsion of missiles onto a roadway and depositing rubbish after Friend allegedly drove the vehicle in which two backseat juvenile passengers reportedly threw bottles and a roll of toilet paper out of the window at Patsy Varano Jr., 30, of 6 Nutt Ave. while Varano walked near the parking garage on Church Street at 8:18 p.m. Saturday.

City police said someone threw a brick through the window of Mike’s Auto Repair, located at 122 Connellsville St., at 8:29 p.m. Friday.

Police said the burglary alarm was activated and it did not appear that anyone entered the building.
