Valeria Sabbrese Poli, age 83, of LaBelle, Pa., died Wednesday, December 29, 2004. She was born on March 26, 1921, in East Millsboro, Pa., Daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Roman) Sabbrese.

She was a member of Saint James Roman Catholic Church in LaBelle, Saint Anne Guild and the Luzerne Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a volunteer at Brownsville General Hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband, George J. Poli, Sisters, Mary Sabbrese, Della Volensky, Yolanda Sabbrese, a Brother, Ernest Sabbrese, and Parents.

She is survived by a Brother, John Sabbrese and his wife Betty, Maple Heights, Ohio; and a Very Dear Friend, Mary Porter, East Millsboro, Pa.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held Monday, January 3, 2005, at 11:15 a.m.

A Funeral Mass follows at 12 Noon in Saint James Roman Catholic Church, LaBelle, Pa., with the Rev. Father James Petrovsky as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Acklin Cemetery.
