Basso-Phelan
Elizabeth Phelan and Cristian Basso of Eagle, Colo., were united in marriage on Oct. 22, 2004, in a ceremony at the Christian W. Klay Winery, Chalk Hill, with Pastor Rodney Staggers officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Phelan of Uniontown. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Alessandro Basso of Winchester, Va.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an elegant silk charmeuse silhouette gown with V-neck, rhinestone adornments and a sweep train.
Matron of honor was Kindra Skluzacek. Bridesmaids were Erin Suchevits and Eileen Phelan, the bride’s sisters.
Flower girl was Sofia Heaps.
Scott Kabel was best man. Ushers were Jeffrey Armistead and Dan Hallowell.
Ring bearer was Samuel Heaps.
The reception was held at the Christian W. Clay Winery.
The bride is a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is employed by Slifer Designs Inc.
The groom is a graduate of George School in Newton, Pa., Temple University in Philadelphia and Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. He is employed by Colorado Land Art Studio and Little Hercules.
Following a honeymoon to Santa Fe and Taos, N.M., the couple are making their home in Eagle, Colo.
