Franczyk-Gray
United in marriage on Sept. 25 in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church were Julie Gray and Stephen Franczyk. The Rev. Alexander L. Pleban officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Anna Gray of Uniontown.
The groom is the son of William Sr. and Barbara Franczyk of Uniontown.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an A-line, off-the-shoulder organza gown with beaded embroidery covering the basque waist bodice, deep patterns of beading and embroidery accenting the front of the skirt and edges of the cathedral train.
She also wore a headband with crystals and pearls and an ivory elbow-length veil trimmed with satin.
Matron of honor was Amy Layton. Bridesmaids were Megan Regula, Julie Valentic and Lucinda Franczyk. Rachel Thomas was flower girl.
Best man was William Franczyk Jr. Ushers were Rich Stiver, Adam Gray and Jim Layton. Zackery and Jonathan Layton were ring bearers.
A reception was held in the Hopwood Social Hall.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a 2003 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania.
She is employed by the Pinellas County (Fla.) School District.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and a 2001 graduate of Penn State University.
He is employed at Aspen Square Management Inc.
The couple is residing in Clearwater, Fla.
