Andrew R. Matty, 87, of Henderson, Nev., and formerly of Ridge Road, Brownsville, Pa., died Friday, Jan. 7, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Matty; three children, Wayne, James and Cheryl Matty; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Thomas Matty.

Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, Pa., on Thursday from 1 to 9 p.m., where a prayer service will be held on Friday at 10:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., in St. Oliver Plunkett R.C. Church, Fredericktown, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. Edward Litavec as celebrant. Interment in LaFayette Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Binnstown-Low Hill Lions Club, Tri-County Leathernecks or Center-in-the-Woods, California, Pa.
