Geraldine Riggar Riggen, age 90, of Vanderbilt, Pa., died Thursday, January 13, 2005, in Lint’s Personal Care Home, Connellsville, Pa. Born November 25, 1914, in Moyer, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of William C. Riggar and Laura Monahon Riggar.

She was a member of Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church and a devoted Homemaker.

She was preceded in death by six Brothers and Sisters, Kenneth, Ralph, Argyle, Audrey and Ethel Riggar and Annafern Riggar Duckworth, a Son-in-law, Thomas Styles, Granddaughter, Mindi Rockwell Garletts, Great Granddaughters, April Jackson and Courtney Rockwell, and her Parents.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Riggin; Children: Laura Grimes and her husband Ed, Manor, Pa., Martin “Marty” “Pete” Riggin and his wife Kathy, Vanderbilt, Pa., Bernard Riggin and his wife Bert, Uniontown, Pa., Ronald Riggin and his friend Sue Cook, Connellsville, Pa.; Wayne Riggin and his wife Marlene, Vanderbilt, Pa., Shirley Styles, Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, Richard Riggin and his wife Barbara, Dawson, Pa., Rosemary Winaught and her husband Ray, Lemont Furnace, Pa., Wanda Stewart and her husband Cliff, Vanderbilt, Pa., and Kathleen Rockwell and her husband Tim, Bitner, Pa.; a Brother, Bernard Riggar and his wife Shirley, West Leisenring, Pa.; 31 Grandchildren; 64 Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.

Friends will be received at the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa., on Sunday from Noon to 9 p.m. where Services will be held Monday, January 17, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Keith McIlwain and the Rev. Bonnie Hartley officiating.

Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
