Two-vehicle accident State police said drivers Denise Schloemer, 45, and Charles Shroyer, 59, were involved in an accident Tuesday at 3:28 p.m. along Route 119 northbound at Richard Chevrolet. Police said Shroyer and a passenger in his vehicle, Nancy Domer, 55, were treated at Highlands Hospital in Connellsville for minor injuries, while Schloemer and her passenger, Marian Snee, 40, were not injured.

Burglary

April Bartley of Monarch told state police someone entered her home between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 4 p.m. Wednesday and removed several items.

PFA violation

State police said Kenneth Ashton Jr. of Hopwood violated the conditions of a protection from abuse order against him filed by a girl during an incident in the parking lot of Dollar General Jan. 8 and 9.

Item taken

Thomas Nalevanko of Smock told state police someone entered a residence along Laurel Hill Road and removed a weed eater belonging to him sometime between 10:30 p.m. Jan. 8 and 7:20 p.m. Jan. 10.

Theft

Ronald Eric Machesky of Uniontown told state police items were taken from his vehicle outside 57 Elma Ave. sometime Dec. 30.

Bullskin Twp.

Retail theft

State police said someone pumped $18.67 worth of gasoline at the Sheetz convenience store at the intersection of Routes 119 and 982 on Tuesday evening and left without paying.

Luzerne Twp.

Drivers hurt

State police said Ernest Schimmel Jr. of Grindstone and William J. Hynes of Fayette City suffered moderate injuries in an accident on Route 166 at an intersection with a state road Wednesday at 3:39 p.m. Both men were treated at Brownsville General Hospital. Both were wearing seatbelts. Tower Hill 2 Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Accident reported

State police said Emma McGee of Uniontown was not injured when she lost control of her vehicle on a slush- and ice-covered Route 51 north near the Route 201 intersection Tuesday at 7:50 a.m. Her vehicle traveled up an embankment.

Uniontown

Two cars burn

City police said a car owned by Julius Leoni of 103 Belmont Circle caught fire Wednesday at 4:44 p.m. in his driveway after he attempted to start it. The car was fully engulfed in flames when officers arrived. The city fire department responded and extinguished the fire.

Police also said a red Pontiac Firebird without a license plate caught fire in an alley behind Lemon Street at 2:41 a.m. Thursday. The fire department put out the fire.

Uniontown

Van found

City police said a van reported stolen by Beverly Davis of 23 S. Gallatin Ave. at 5:03 p.m. Wednesday was recovered a few minutes later on Dunlap Street with a broken passenger window. Police said she started the vehicle and left it running to warm up when it was taken.

Franklin Twp.

ATV stolen

State police at Waynesburg said a red 2001 Honda TRX300EX all-terrain vehicle owned by Jason Hartley was stolen from the yard of his Bucktown home Wednesday morning before 2:20 a.m. It was pushed from his yard onto Sycamore Street. Unknown suspects unsuccessfully tried to steal a second ATV from the yard.

Three cited

State police at Waynesburg said charges were filed against Marjorie Smith, 35, of Clarksville, Joseph Black, 34, of Clarksville and Edward Johnson, 45, of Lake Lynn after a Jan. 12 incident on Second Street in Pitt Gas. Smith faces harassment and criminal mischief charges for allegedly fighting with Black and hitting his vehicle with a piece of lumber, police said. Black and Johnson face disorderly conduct charges for allegedly fighting, according to police.

Chain saw stolen

State police at Waynesburg said a Stihl chain saw owned by Matthew Kovach of Mather was stolen from a garage at 118 Third St. between Dec. 31 and Sunday.

Rostraver Twp.

Two escape injury

State police said Jody Seabright of Smock and Wayne Edward Martin of Isabella were not injured in an accident on Interstate 70 east, west of Exit 44, Wednesday at 9:40 p.m. Both were wearing seatbelts.

Upper Tyrone Twp.

One-car accident

State police said Ryan King, 17, of Mount Pleasant hit a guide rail Wednesday at 7:25 p.m. while driving south on Route 119, about a mile south of the county line. He was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. The Everson Volunteer Fire Department assisted.

Washington Twp.

Hit-and-run reported

State police at Waynesburg said the unknown driver of a tractor-trailer struck the front of a car driven by Ashley Cambell, 19, of Wheeling, W.Va., Sunday at 3:20 p.m. on Interstate 79 as the truck merged from the left lane to the right lane. Cambell was not injured.

West Brownsville

Theft

Steeler flags and banners were taken from six homes on Middle Street Wednesday around 12:30 a.m.

According to West Brownsville police, each of the items was valued at around $50.

The decorations were taken from 443, 447, 453, 456, 501 and 605 Middle Street.

Brownsville

Retail theft

Brownsville police charged Gina Fuller, 24, of 22 Coolspring St., Uniontown, with retail theft after she allegedly was found in possession of $186 in unpaid merchandise at the Eckerd Drug Store on Market Street on Dec. 22 at 10 a.m. A juvenile was also found in possession of unpaid merchandise and was also charged with retail theft.
