Trio arrested
Uniontown police picked up a trio of city people wanted for robbery in Greensburg.
Sgt. Jonathan Grabiak said he arrested Broderick Harris and Brandon Mitchell on Thursday afternoon and picked up Stephanie Mitchell Friday morning.
Police allege the three set up Gary Lipniskis to get robbed at a Greensburg home on May 28. Lipniskis reportedly went to a Topper Way home with Stephanie Mitchell around 11:15 p.m., and while he was inside, police allege Brandon Mitchell and Harris accosted him, pointing a shotgun in his face, and hitting him with the weapon.
It was not immediately clear if Brandon and Stephanie Mitchell are related.
The men allegedly took $280 from Lipniskis and reportedly left with Stephanie Mitchell. A criminal complaint filed in the case indicated that Stephanie Mitchell called Lipniskis to make sure he was alright after the alleged robbery, but refused to pick him up.
Greensburg police said Stephanie Mitchell admitted to setting Lipniskis up to be robbed.
All three are charged with robbery, criminal conspiracy, theft, receiving stolen property and simple assault.
