John Perruzza, age 85, of Sarasota, Florida, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005.
He was born February 9, 1920, in Brooklyn, New York.
John was a veteran of World War II.
He graduated from George Washington University and was employed as a Government Defense And Supply Logistics Specialist.
He was a member of and usher at The Catholic Church Of The Incarnation in Sarasota, Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Bena Perruzza; two sisters: Marie Perruzza Rufo of Lenox, Massachusetts, and Josephine Perruzza Elling of Great Barrington, Massachusetts; and two brothers: Lucio Perruzza of Minneola, New York, and Rinaldo Perruzza of Fall River, Massachusetts.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in The Catholic Church Of The Incarnation in Sarasota, Florida, on Saturday, July 2.
The family will receive friends in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC. AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS CEMETERY, A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., today, July 4, from 6 to 8 p.m., on Tuesday, July 5, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 6, until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held with the Reverend Father Micah E. Kozoil officiating.
Interment and Graveside Services will follow in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
