Olive May Cox Collins, 94, of Smyrna, Del., formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died Monday, July 4, 2005, at her residence. She was born May 27, 1911, in Connellsville, Pa.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Edwin E. Cox and Ida Emma Eicher Cox, her husband, Charles W. Collins Sr., and four brothers, Charles, Russell, Milton and Raymond Cox.

Mrs. Collins was a former bookkeeper for the West Penn Railway Company of Connellsville, Pa., a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, the Adrian Bible Class, Margaret E. Cavern Shrine No. 42 of Pennsylvania, Order of Easter Star No. 263 and White Shrine of Jerusalem.

Surviving are two sons, Charles W. Collins Jr., and his wife, Shirley of Smyrna, Del.; a daughter, Beverly Ruth Collins Waugh of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lester Cox of Somerset, Pa.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Ave., Uniontown, Pa., on Friday until 10 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Emily Bryd officiating. Interment will follow in Normalville Cemetery.
