Ann K. (Zebro) Kinkus, age 91, of Hopwood, Pa., died on Friday, July 1, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born on May 4, 1914 in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of Phillip and Katherine (Nyzio) Zebro.

Ann was a member of Saint John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and Saint Hedwig’s Lodge.

She had been employed as a seamstress with Berkowitz Garment Factory for eight years in the past, and enjoyed all types of dancing, especially ballroom dancing. Her gentle manner and loving spirit will always be remembered.

Her parents, Her husband, Edward E. Kinkus, and her brothers, John and Stanley Zebro preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory are a sister-in-law Nellie A. Zebro; special nephew, Stanley P. “Stash” Zebro Jr., and his wife, Joyce; and niece Dolores Barcheck and her husband, Edmund, all of Uniontown, Pa.; nephew Paul Kinkus of Morgantown, West Virginia; many other dear nieces and nephews; and her close friend Patricia Carbonara of Hopwood, Pa.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, July 8, until 9:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Saint John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Father William J. Kiel as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
