Citations filed Summary charges were filed against Allen Brandon Dade, 23, of Connellsville after he allegedly shoved Mica Tinsley, 31, of Brownsville against a car in a bar parking lot Saturday at 2:45 a.m., state police said. The car, owned by Sandy Wilson, 27, of Brownsville, had damage to the right side door and mirror. The charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Herbert Mitchell Jr.’s office.

Police investigate
City police are investigating the following unrelated incidents:
– A June 22 incident in which an unknown person threw eggs into a pool in the 400 block of East Patterson Avenue.
– The June 23 theft of a Poulan chain saw from a shed in the 400 block of East Crawford Avenue.
– The June 23 theft of three DVDs from Hollywood Video. Police said a white male in his mid-20s who was wearing a ball cap and carrying a backpack is suspected.
– A June 26 criminal mischief incident in the 500 block of East Murphy Avenue where two vehicles were spray-painted.
– The June 28 theft of lawn equipment from a Pittsburgh Street residence.
– The June 28 theft of a Visa credit card and cash from an unlocked truck parked in the 200 block of East Apple Street.
– A June 28 criminal mischief incident in which a swimming pool located in the 500 block of Johnson Avenue was damaged.
– The June 29 theft of a black vinyl purse and a Samsung A670 picture videophone from an unlocked vehicle parked along Torrence Avenue.
– The June 29 burglary of an unlocked garage in the 500 block of South Arch Street. Police said a two yellow Caravelle models K105 and a KK55 rafts were removed.
– A criminal mischief that occurred June 30 in Greenwood Heights when a vehicle was scratched and a tire flattened.
– The June 30 theft of a silver 20-inch Trail Mongoose bicycle from a North Pittsburgh Street residence. Police said the owner later found the bicycle dismantled and damaged at the rear of a South Pittsburgh Street business.
– A July 1 burglary at the Dollar General Store along North 8th Street. Police said a rear door was pried open in an attempt to remove a safe from the interior of the store.
– A June 22 incident in which a truck parked in the 200 block of West Fayette Street was spray-painted.
– A July 3 incident in which a van parked in the 500 block of East Murphy Avenue was spray-painted.
– The July 3 theft of two license plates from vehicles parked in the 300 block of South Pittsburgh Street.
Police said the plate registration numbers are ETP5593 and YPD0410.

Explosion in car
City police said an unknown type of explosive device was detonated inside a car owned by Sarah Gable and caused severe damage.
She explained to police that she returned from out of town to her 333 Rear W. Berkeley St. home Tuesday and discovered her damaged car.
Police explaned that a plastic bottle was found in the vehicle. This indicated that the explosive might have been homemade.

Report released
The Fayette County sheriff’s office received 654 requests for services in June, according to Sheriff Gary D. Brownfield’s monthly activity report.
The report lists 110 complaints and summons, 39 landlord and tenant orders for possessions, 50 protection from abuse cases, 41 mortgage foreclosure complaints, 36 foreign writs of service, nine personal property executions, two writs of possessions, one petition, 361 gun permits processed, five miscellaneous services, six bench warrants, 75 prisoners transported, 5,181 miles traveled transporting prisoners, 176 hours of courthouse and 911 center security, 44 hours of miscellaneous security and 40 hours of community relations programming. Funds forwarded to the county totaled $26,292, and funds spent for services not reimbursed totaled $9,664.

Car burned
City police reported that the remains from two sparklers were recovered from inside a car that was damaged in a fire on Tuesday night in a Morgantown Street bar’s parking lot.
Police reported that employee Darla Carr looked out of a kitchen window at 10:20 p.m. and saw flames coming out of her car.
The passenger window was down about 2 inches and the medal rods from the sparklers were found on the front passenger seat.
Carr put out the fire with an extinguisher, according to police.

Numerous items were stolen from Robin Klugman’s home on Coolspring Street between Saturday and Tuesday, state police said.

DUI charged
Driving under the influence charges were filed against David Andrew Turian, 47, of Nemacolin as a result of a June 17 traffic stop on Route 88 near Shortcut Road, state police at Waynesburg said. He was driving a dump truck with no rear lighting and failed to drive within one lane, police said. The charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Neil Canan’s office.

Driving under the influence charges were filed Tuesday against Matthew William Pritts, 33, of Brownsville as a result of a June 7 traffic stop on Route 166, state police said.

ATV stolen
Marco Demaske told state police at Waynesburg that a black Kolpin 90cc all-terrain vehicle was stolen from the back yard of Demaske’s Tavern on June 23 or 24.
West Brownsville
Driver injured
State police said driver Traci L. Evans of Connellsville suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident involving another driver, Donald L. Sabo of Uniontown, on Washington Avenue at Pittsburgh Road Monday at 6:33 p.m. Evans was taken to Brownsville General Hospital. Neither Sabo nor his passenger was hurt.

Disorderly conduct and criminal trespass charges were filed against Thomas D. McKinney, 37, of 54 N. Morris St., Apt. 12, for allegedly causing a disturbance at Stryker’s Bar and Grille on Willow Road, Waynesburg, and not leaving after he was asked to, state police at Waynesburg said. The charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Neil Canan’s office.

State police said Ronald Joseph Zelinsky, 41, reported that a 20-foot aluminum extendable ladder was stolen from the rear of 517 Underwood St. between 12:30 a.m. Sunday and 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Harassment charges were filed against Contourious G. Cunningham, 22, of Uniontown for allegedly hitting Felicia M. Williams, 20, in Searights Village during a domestic dispute Tuesday at 8:45 a.m., state police said.

Jack Franklin of Mount Pleasant was cited with harassment and public drunkenness after he allegedly hit Robert Edwards of Connellsville in the face at 2719 Memorial Blvd. Monday at 8:50 p.m., state police said.

Mark Anthony Fonner, 44, of Waynesburg and Renee Elizabeth McKulka, 44, of Keisterville were cited with harassment for fighting at 312 Water Dam Road Tuesday at 12:55 a.m., state police at Waynesburg said.

One-car accident
State police said Terri L. Johnson, 19, of Uniontown was not injured when she lost control of a car on New Salem Road near the Sheetz store and it traveled down an embankment Tuesday at 8:41 p.m.

City police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:
Walter E. Schurg, 51, of Connellsville with drug possession. Police said Schurg was found in possession of cocaine May 13 when taken into custody by state constables in another matter.
Chad A. Knight, 20, of Connellsville for retail theft and possession of marijuana after he allegedly was found stealing four packs of beef jerky from the Sheetz convenience store on May 19. Police said the items totaled $11.96.
Brian Miller, 35, of Dunbar with driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license due to driving under the influence after a May 27 traffic stop for alleged erratic driving.
Albert J. Moore, 48, of Connellsville for driving under the influence after a May 29 traffic stop for alleged speeding.
Bradley V. Beal, 21, of Mount Pleasant for driving under the influence after a June 4 traffic stop for alleged erratic driving and spinning tires.
Brian K. Morris, 41, of Smithfield for driving under the influence after a June 11 traffic stop for alleged speeding.
