Uniontown Rotary installs new officers
The Uniontown Rotary Club, Fayette County’s largest Rotary with 90 members, installed officers recently. They are, (from left) Carol Ashton, president-elect; David Dowling, president; Pamela Moore, past president; Ed Olsavicky, past district governor; William Blaney, executive treasurer; Sharon Waltz, executive secretary; and Louis Ridgley, vice president. The local club was founded in 1919 and holds weekly lunch meetings on Tuesdays at noon at the Uniontown Country Club. It awards $10,000 annually to Fayette County charities, conducts health-awareness screenings six times annually, food drives and fund raisers.
