William John Yablunosky

William John Yablunosky, 75, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., passed away Thursday evening, July 7, 2005, in the Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. Born May 31, 1930, in Lemont Furnace, Pa., he was the son of the late John W. Yablunosky and Anna Babuscak Yablunosky.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, John, Joseph and Edward.

He was a member of the St. Cecelia Chapel/St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, a member of The Knights of Columbus, where he held the office of Former Grand Knight, a veteran of the United States Army, retired from the A & P as the store manager, a previous member of the North Union Township Road Board, and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 47.

William is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Mary A. Labella Yablunosky; his loving daughters, Theresa M. Niner and husband, Thomas J. of Morgantown, W.Va., and Cynthia L. Sencindiver and husband, Kirk of Milledgeville, Ga.; five grandchildren, Patrick Niner, Andrea Niner, Kerri Beth Niner, Samantha Sencindiver and Alexandria Sencindiver; and a sister-in-law, Agnes Yablunosky of Hopwood, Pa.

Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME, AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVE., UNIONTOWN, today from 7 to 9 p.m., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday morning until 9:30 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Micah Kozoil as Celebrant.

Interment follows in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown. A Parish Wake Service will be held on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Military Honors will be accorded at graveside by the VFW Post 47.
