Jeremy Todd Kennison, age 25, of Westover, West Virginia, and formerly of Haydentown, Pa., lost his courageous battle with cancer on Friday evening, July 8, 2005, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. Jeremy was born July 20, 1979, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.

Jeremy graduated in 1997 from Albert Gallatin High School and was attending Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus striving for a degree in nursing.

He was employed by Ruby Memorial Hospital and was a member of the United States Army Reserves 351st Ordnance Company in Uniontown, Pa., serving as a Sergeant.

Jeremy had attended the Haydentown Christian Church in previous years.

He was an active member of the Uniontown Y.M.C.A.

He enjoyed different sports including racquetball, golf, bowling, shooting pool and his Fantasy Football League.

Jeremy was very physically fit and enjoyed life to the fullest!

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Gertrude and John Kennison, uncle, John D. Kennison, maternal grandfather, Joseph E. Bartko, and aunt, Patricia E. Bartko.

Jeremy leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Erin Warman Kennison; his parents, Susan and Wayne Kennison of Haydentown, Pa.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Janice and James Warman of Carmichaels, Pa.; his brother, Wayne Kennison Jr. and his fianc?e, Judy Lawrence, and their sons, Israel and Charlie, of Masontown, Pa.; his sister, Beth Ann Hull and her husband, Daniel Hull Sr., and their children, Danny Jr. and Kayla, of Smithfield, Pa.; his maternal grandmother, Madonna Bartko of Smithfield, Pa.; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; and numerous good friends and co-workers. Jeremy was especially close to his dear aunt Barb.

The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, July 12, until 10 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Steve Baker officiating.

Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa., where Military Rites will be accorded by General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa.
