Teen charged
An unidentified 17-year-old male was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a minor following a traffic stop at 12:11 a.m. on April 10, East Bethlehem Township Police said.
Police said the vehicle was initially stopped for suspicious activity. Police said there was a smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The juvenile was taken into custody and a search of the vehicle was conducted. The search revealed a .32-caliber handgun, a digital scale and marijuana, police said.
At the conclusion of laboratory tests, the juvenile petition was filed for the charges, police said.

Citation issued
Richard A. Brooks, 50, of 152 Jefferson Way, Jefferson, was cited for public drunkenness after he was found staggering along Main Street at 5:05 p.m. Saturday, East Bethlehem Township Police said.
Brooks was taken into custody, cited and taken to his home, police said.

Charges filed
Police have filed charges against the following individuals in unrelated incidents:
– Robert L. Bunting, 33, of Dunbar, with public drunkenness after police allegedly found him intoxicated in the parking lot of Bud Murphy’s Pizza on July 5.
– Daniel A. Yauger, 18, of Connellsville, with receiving stolen property and driving with a suspended or revoked license following a July 5 traffic stop. Police said Yauger was operating a vehicle with what they alleged was a stolen registration plate.

Investigations continue
Police are conducting investigations into the following unrelated incidents:
– The July 5 reported theft of a 16-inch boy’s black Mongoose bicycle, a 24-inch red and black Mongoose mountain bicycle and a 20-inch girl’s purple glitter Next bicycle from a residence located in the 200 block of East Fairview Avenue.
– A July 7 criminal mischief when someone broke a window of a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Decatur Avenue.

Stickers stolen
State police said someone stole the inspection sticker from Markleysburg resident Mark Douglas Miller’s 1993 Chevrolet Cavalier and a registration sticker from Uniontown resident William Foster Mansburry’s 1989 Oldsmobile Royale between 10 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday.

Driver flown
Lois Murray, 84, of Uniontown was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., for treatment of minor injuries after the driver’s 1998 Cadillac Deville traveled off South Mount Vernon Avenue and struck a telephone pole at 8:12 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

Hit-and-run logged
A vehicle struck the side of a 1992 Pontiac Grand Prix owned by Richard D. Lough of Uniontown while it was parked along Thanksgiving Street between midnight and 1 p.m. Thursday, according to state police.

Corruption charged
Corruption of minors and other charges were filed against John William Woods Jr., 24, of Bentleyville for alleged incidents involving three minors at Mountain Pines Campground on July 2, state police said.
Woods allegedly told two boys, ages 12 and 14, to expose themselves and took a 14-year-old girl into his cabin and tried to give her alcohol, police said. The charges were filed at Magisterial District Judge Robert Breakiron’s office.

Driver cited
Robin R. Mehal-Honsaker, 36, of Masontown was cited with careless driving and not wearing a seatbelt after she allegedly fell asleep while driving on Cross Street and hit a light pole July 6 at 12:06 p.m., state police said. She suffered minor injuries.

Vehicle burned
State police said a stolen vehicle owned by Vernon Ritenour of White was found burned along Ridge Road on June 4.

Car damaged
State police said Edward Stotka, 80, of Brownsville drove onto a section of Route 70 where the concrete had been removed in a construction project Friday at 11:50 p.m. Police said he was not hurt, but his car was severely damaged.

Man cited
Michael Rivera, 23, of Richeyville was charged with criminal mischief for allegedly breaking a taillight and denting a door on a truck owned by Terry Queen, 21, of Fredericktown Sunday at 2:20 a.m. on School Street, state police said.

Car crashes
State police said Jordan Ramsier, 18, of Perryopolis did not negotiate a left curve in Stuckslager Road Saturday at 9:45 p.m., traveled about 400 feet down a hillside and hit a tree.
Police said Ramsier was not hurt, but his vehicle was destroyed.

Harassment alleged
Harassment charges were filed against Jessy Radcliff of Chestnut Ridge for allegedly shoving Michael Dulski of Smock at an Old Royal Road residence Saturday at 11:30 a.m., state police said.

Man jailed
Darrell W. Porterfield of Dilliner was cited for public drunkenness and placed in the county prison following an incident Sunday at 1:34 a.m. along Oak Hill Road, state police said.

Man charged
William Cramer, 56, of Mount Pleasant was charged with simple assault and harassment for allegedly shoving Deborah Cramer, 53, and causing her to fall into a bathtub Saturday at 9:53 p.m.

Car struck
City police said Patricia Kett reported Sunday morning that a vehicle struck and damaged the driver’s side mirror on her car in front of her 33 Arlington Ave. residence some time overnight.

TV stolen
City police said Shannon L. Ermlick reported Sunday at 1:29 p.m. that a window on her 45 Rear Lenox St. home was broken and a rented TV was stolen.

Two arraigned
David James Wassell, 41, of Pittsburgh and Tina Marie Lash were arrested Saturday at 612 Mountainview Gardens in Waynesburg on a warrant for theft-of-service charges from Fayette County and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Louis M. Dayich, state police said. Wassell, police said, also had a felony forgery warrant from Fayette County.
Police also filed charges of theft against Wassell at Dayich’s office on Saturday evening after he allegedly stole a wedding gift card box valued at $350 during a wedding reception at the American Legion.

Charges to be filed
State police said a charge of harassment will be filed against a Washington man after he allegedly hit Doreen Duda of Mount Morris in the face at 10 p.m. Saturday.

Man injured
Angel Michelle Sherman, 40, was charged with simple assault under the Domestic Violence Act for allegedly slashing the left arm of Dennis Edwin Sherman, 43, with a steak knife, causing a 3-inch-deep cut Sunday at 11 p.m. at 171 Oak Hill Road in the Marianna area, accorindg to a state police report.
