Ethel Mae (McDonald) Wilson age 81, of Fairchance, Pa., went home to the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 12, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital. Mae was born December 14, 1923 in Morgantown, West Virginia, daughter of the late Charles W. McDonald and Nannie C. McFadden McDonald.

She was predeceased by five sisters: infant baby Frieda McDonald, Mildred Blosser, Edith Hertzog, Esther McDonald and Ruth Greathouse and five brothers: Jesse, Leonard, Clyde, Albert and Guy McDonald.

Surviving are her loving husband of 59 years, Woodrow Wilson; three children: Nancy Humbert and her husband, William of Smithfield, Pa., David Wilson and Glenn Wilson and his wife, Leona “Oney”, all of Fairchance, Pa.; five grandchildren: Diane Humbert Brangard and her husband, Ralph II of Smithfield, Pa., Donna Humbert Eicher and he husband, Brian of Fairchance, Pa., William Humbert Jr. of Smithfield, Pa., Jodi Wilson and Glenn Wilson Jr. both of Fairchance, Pa.; Four great grandchildren: Ralph III, Amber and John Brangard, all of Smithfield, Pa., and Chloe Morgan Eicher of Fairchance, Pa.; several nieces; nephews; cousins and two sisters-in-law: Frances and Hazel McDonald, both of Morgantown, West Virginia.

She loved her family with all her heart and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to everyone she met.

Mae had a heart of gold and was a devoted Christian woman. She was a member of the Fairchance Church of the Brethren where she was active in the Choir, Ladies Bible Class and the Women’s Fellowship until she had fallen ill.

She had many friends and never met a stranger. All those who loved her and held her dear to their hearts will sadly miss her. Her memory will live in our hearts forever.

The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Visitation continues at the Fairchance Church of the Brethren on Friday, July 15, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev. Rory Ruder officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
