Helen Eileen Burkholder, age 64, of Dunbar, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 12, 2005, while comforted by her loving family. She was born March 22, 1941, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Robert P. and Sara Opal Savage Papke.

She is survived by a son, John W. Burkholder Jr., of Dickerson Run; four daughters: Eileen Hoffer and husband Myron, of Scottdale, Kitty Jackson and husband John, of Dunbar, Lisa Sutor and husband John, of Ruffsdale, and Dawn Burkholder; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers: Robert E. Papke and wife Charlene, of Long Island, N.Y., and James C. Papke and wife, Karen, of Mohawk, N.Y.; three sisters, Bobbie Russell and husband, Alex, of Florida, Cindy Nutt and husband, Owen, of Leonardsville, Sherry Papke, of Mississippi.

Friends will be received in the Vito C. Martucci Funeral Home, 123 South First Street, West Side, Connellsville, Pa., from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today and until 10 a.m. Saturday, the hour of service with Pastor Ray Keefer officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Dunbar, Pa.
