Robert T. “Bob” Heinbaugh
Robert T. “Bob” Heinbaugh, 73, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away on Thursday morning, July 14, 2005, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, with his loving family t his side. He was born on Feb. 22, 1932, in Uniontown, Pa., son of George G. and Pansy C. (Mackey) Heinbaugh.
His parents, and his sister, Camilla J. Lyberger of Utah, preceded him in death.
Bob was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Uniontown, Pa.
For over 22 years, he was a heavy equipment operator employed by L&J Equipment at the Hatfield Perry Power Station. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening and woodworking, and was loved and respected by everyone. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and many friends for his patience and kindness, and of his favorite motto, “One Day At A Time”.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 53 years, Helen E. (Homa) Heinbaugh; five children, Richard W. Heinbaugh and wife, Linda of Ruffsdale, Pa., Joyce L. Hendrix and husband, Danny of Panama City, Fla., Donna L. Rogers of Uniontown, Pa., Mark A. Heinbaugh and wife, Sandy and David B. Heinbaugh and wife, Bonnie, all of Fredericksburg, Va.; eight grandchildren, Jason A. Rogers, Christina A. Hiers, Stephen R. Hendrix, Bryan D. Heinbaugh, Bridgett N. Heinbaugh and Harry, Shawn and Melissa Heinbaugh; four great-grandchildren; a brother, George Heinbaugh; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his beloved sidekick “Rocky”.
Friends will be received in THE STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNEAL HOME INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa., this evening from 6 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, July 16, 2005, until 11 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Alexander L. Pleban as Celebrant. Interment services will be private at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
St. Joseph Parish Family Vigil by the Ministry of Consolation will be conducted this evening at 8:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to The American Red Cross Greater Alleghenies Region Blood Bank, 250 Jari Dr., Johnstown, PA 15904, or St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 180 Old Walnut Hill Rd., Uniontown, PA 15401.
