Ann M. Hlastala Valigore
Ann M. Hlastala Valigore, 84, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Saturday afternoon, July 16, 2005, in her home, with her loving family at her side. Born June 4, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Hlastala and Mary Miskovich Hlastala.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Rudy, Steve, Mike and Joe.
Ann was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church. She was a volunteer in the school cafeteria for years and was the former owner of Ann’s Beauty Shop on Main Street.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Joseph S. Valigore; three loving children, Joseph T. Valigore and wife, Clare of Uniontown, Janet Bonislawsky of Aliquippa, Pa., and Maryanne Oshnack and husband, William of Uniontown; eight grandchildren, Joseph and Kimberly Valigore, Mary, Steven and Theresa Bonislawsky, and Jeffrey, Joseph and Mary Beth Oshnack; her sister, Elizabeth Mosko and husband, Michael of Uniontown; and nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors.
Friends will be received in THE STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME, AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, on Monday, July 18, 2005, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said, followed by a 10 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Mary (Nativity) R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr, Micah Kozoil as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown. A Parish Wake Service will be held on Monday at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Mary (Nativity’s) Church.
