July 23, 2005 Attorney Thomas W. Shaffer said charges of terroristic threats and simple assault against his client Mark Downs of Dunbar were dismissed in a protection from abuse hearing before Judge Ralph C. Warman. Shaffer said he was aware that those same charges were still active in a case before Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino.
