George W. Hershman, age 77, formerly of the Allison-Penncraft, Fayette County, Pa., area, retired United States Air Force Staff Sergeant (23 years of service including the Vietnam War) who was born in Rowlesburg, West Virginia, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, in Watsonville, California. He is survived by two daughters: Diana Hershman Long of Watsonville, California, and Crystal Hershman Kisicki of Glendale, Arizona; brothers: Kenneth Hershman of Ohio, Darrell Hershman of New Jersey and Ronald Hershman of Florida; sisters: Lois Hershman Scabis and her husband, Phil Scabis, of Allison, Pa., and Arlene Hershman Rutherford of Ohio; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services with military honors were held in Lakeview Cemetery, Cheyenne, Wyoming.
