Three flown Esther Miller, 37, was taken by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for life-threatening injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 40 and Hopwood-Coolspring Road at 11:54 p.m. Saturday, state police said. Two of three girls police identified as passengers in Miller’s vehicle were flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in West Virginia, while the third was treated at Uniontown Hospital, police said. Police did not know the extent of girls’ injuries. Joshua M. Rosmus, 22, who was not injured, was driving the second vehicle involved in the accident, police said. Miller was listed in critical condition Sunday, police said. Police said charges are pending in the incident, which remains under investigation.

Criminal mischief

State police said someone damaged a 2004 Honda Accord belonging to John Miller, 25, of Lavale, Md., in a pharmacy parking lot along Route 21 sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday. Anyone with information is urged to call state police in Uniontown.

Harassment reported

State police investigated an incident where a 50-year-old Uniontown woman allegedly struck and pushed Kristy Walker, 27, of Hopwood at 115 Hayden Lane at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Vehicle stolen

A 2001 Honda TRX250 belonging to Clifford Allan Prinkey of Normalville was stolen from 306 Roger Mill Road sometime between midnight and 9:45 a.m. Friday, state police said.

Burglary reported

State police said someone stole a motorcycle and a blue duffle bag containing clothing from the Painter’s Choice at 1094 University Drive sometime between 6 p.m. Friday and 9:05 a.m. Saturday.

Rock thrown

Joel Joshua Shumar, 27, of Uniontown was cited for harassment after he allegedly threw a rock, striking Donna Marie Mickey, 24, of New Salem in the village of Buffington at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, state police said.

PFA violation

State police said a Republic man violated a Protection From Abuse order when he allegedly threatened physical harm against Kelly Beth Williams of Farmington at a Miranda Street residence at 9:15 p.m. Thursday.

Two arrested

State police arrested a Connellsville man and a known juvenile for possessing a controlled substance in the parking lot of Woodview Terrace at 8:36 p.m. July 18.

Windows shattered

Someone shattered side windows on a vehicle belonging to Anthony and Georgiana Kobylarczyk while the vehicles were parked at their 84 Main St. residence.

Someone also damaged a vehicle parked at the 88 Main St. home of Matthew D. Everhart sometime between 2 and 6 a.m. Friday, state police said.

Windows broken

Someone shattered the windshield and side window on Thomas R. Pegg’s 2001 Ford F-150 truck while it was parked at his 154 Mountain View Road home between 9:15 p.m. Thursday and 6:40 a.m. Friday, state police said.

Minor injury

Amy Poli, 25, of Uniontown suffered a minor injury after a two-vehicle accident along Route 40 near the Sheetz store around noon on Thursday, state police said.

Katie Kupets, 20, of Uniontown, the operator of the other vehicle involved in the accident, was not injured, police said.
