By The 1 min read

BULLSKIN TWP. – State police are looking for a man who robbed a Westmoreland County man at knifepoint Saturday along Route 119. Police said the suspect, a white man, pulled a hunting knife and robbed John R. Voron, 45, of North Huntingdon after his vehicle broke down along Route 119 north around 6:45 p.m.

Voron pulled off the highway just north of the Route 982 intersection when the suspect pulled up in an older-model tan Dodge pickup truck. The suspect said he would go to his home, get tools to fix the vehicle and return, but asked for $5 for gas.

When Voron took out his wallet, the suspect pulled a knife and demanded all the money. Voron gave him the money, which belonged to his employer, Discount Marketing of Greensburg, and the suspect fled.

The suspect is in his late 30s or early 40s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, approximately 160 to 180 pounds and has blond hair. He was unshaven and wore a gray T-shirt, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.

Police ask anybody with information about the incident to call the station at 724-439-7111.
