Marilyn J. Mansfield
Marilyn J. Mansfield, 75, of California, Pa., died at 1:44 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2005, in the Washington Hospital. She was born April 11, 1930, in Millsboro, Pa., a daughter of the late Raymond C. and Sarah Mae Norman Evans.
Mrs. Mansfield was a 1949 graduate of East Beth High School.
She is a member of the United Christian Church of Malden, and was a former Sunday School Teacher and Past President of the Missionary Society of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in West Brownsville.
Mrs. Mansfield enjoyed reading, embroidery, gardening and spending time at the family camp in Tidioute, Pa.
On March 24, 1951, in Center, Pa., she married Raymond S. “Sonny” Mansfield, who died on Aug. 4, 2004.
Surviving are a son, the Rev. David A. Mansfield and his wife, Cathy of Washington, Pa.; two grandsons, Timothy Mansfield and his wife, Joy of Rushford, N.Y., and John Mansfield and his wife, Erin of Wyoming, Pa.; two great-great-grandsons, Matthew Raymond Mansfield and Christopher Alan Mansfield; and three nieces and two nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, is a sister, Connie M. Austin, who died Jan. 18, 2004.
