St. George Church plans parish festival Aug. 6-7
St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 6 Lebanon Terrace, Uniontown, will hold its annual parish mahrajan (festival) on Aug. 6 and 7. Events start at the 5 p.m. Divine Liturgy on Aug. 6. An Atlantic City casino night will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the parish hall. On Aug. 7, festivities start with the 10:30 a.m. Divine Liturgy followed by the festival on the church grounds and in the social hall from noon to 6 p.m. Featured will be Lebanese food including la’ham, mishwee (shish kabob) grape leaves, kibbi, cabbage rolls and more, as well as music and entertainment.
