Man struck State police said William Walter Hrach of Belle Vernon suffered a minor injury when an object thrown into his vehicle through an open window hit him in the face Wednesday at 10:20 p.m. on Route 119 south near Sheetz. Two other objects hit the left side of his vehicle, police said.

Tires slashed

City police said tires on 12 vehicles were found slashed Thursday night and Friday morning on Madison Avenue, Cleveland Avenue, Lincoln Street and Lenox Street.

Man cited

Frank Campbell, 48, homeless, was cited with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct for allegedly harassing customers at Yum Yum Bagels on Morgantown Street at 7 a.m. Thursday, city police said.

Woman arrested

Marcia A. Kersten, 24, of Uniontown was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order by allegedly hitting Daniel L. Evans, 27, of Uniontown in the head while he was driving on Connellsville street Wednesday at 3:40 p.m., state police said. She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Robert Breakiron and placed in the county prison in lieu of $10,000 percentage bail.

Equipment stolen

State police said five 8-inch-diameter steel trench box spreaders measuring 2 and 4 feet in length and owned by Maust Excavation of Somerset were stolen from a construction site along Youngstown Road near Percy Lane between 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

City police said Edward Russman Jr. reported that syrup was poured into his car’s gas tank late Wednesday or early Thursday at his 203 Coolspring St. residence.

Windshield damaged

City police said a windshield on a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier was reported broken with a billiard ball Thursday at 10 a.m. at Region Buick on East Fayette Street.

State police said several items were stolen from Timothy Skiles’ Windy Hill Road residence between July 23 and 28.

Burglary arrests

State police at Uniontown arrested Kyle Keffer, 18, of Uniontown, and Robert Mark Lowry Jr., 19, of Uniontown, charging both with burglary, theft, criminal trespass, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.

The two are accused of stealing $2,000 in firearms, electronics and jewelry from the residence of Dottie McGregor, 188 Downer Ave., Uniontown, between July 18 and 19.

The two were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Robert Breakiron of Bullskin Township and lodged in the Fayette County Prison after failing to post bond.

Threat made

Joseph E. Trillow, 33, of 2405 Ridge Blvd., Connellsville, told state police he was threatened by a person known to him at his residence at 8 p.m. Thursday. The investigation is continuing.

Motorcycle accident

Martha A. Gallagher, 46, of 110 Metzger Road, Connellsville, crashed a motorcycle she was driving into a railroad tie wall near her residence around 6:50 p.m. Wednesday. She suffered minor leg injuries.

One-vehicle crash

Craig Allen Nicholson of Mill Run was injured Thursday after he lost control of his vehicle on Miller Road. Police said Nicholson was not wearing a seat belt.

Mark D. Miller, 24, of Uniontown, was arrested for public drunkenness around 10:16 p.m. Thursday along Route 119, Georges Township.

Bentleyville

Three-vehicle accident

Three vehicles collided on Interstate 70 at the on ramp to Bentleyville around 8:17 a.m. Thursday.

The drivers, who were not injured, were Shawn W. Resetar, 33, of Luxor, driving a Mack dump truck; Maria C. Litman, 44, Uniontown; and Douglas Dale Johnson, 47, of Hebron, Ohio, driving a semi-tractor trailer owned by Midwest Transport.
