Sara M. “Sally” Crusan Shemansky
Sara M. “Sally” Crusan Shemansky, age 68, of Daisytown, Pa., died Friday, June 3, 2005, at 10:20 a.m. in South Hills Health System’s Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was born September 25, 1936, in Clairton, Pa., daughter of Clifford Crusan and Lena Mae McClaughlin Crusan.
“Sally” graduated from Rostraver High School in 1954.
Mrs. Shemansky had been a driver for the Intermediate Unit for over 25 years.
She was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Daisytown and had been a former member of the Saint Mary’s Ladies Guild.
Mrs. Shemansky enjoyed reading, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.
On October 16, 1959, she married Bruno G. Shemansky Jr., who survives.
Also surviving are two sons: Bruno C. Shemansky and Michael A. Shemansky both of Daisytown; two daughters: Eleanor A. Shemansky Sims of Edgewater, Florida, and Susan M. Pro and her husband, Dave, of Coal Center, Pa.; one sister, Eleanor Neth of Collins, Ohio; and two grandchildren: Courtney Pro and David Pro.
Friends will be received in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street (Route 40), Beallsville, Pa., on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where prayers will be said Tuesday, June 7, at 9:15 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Daisytown, with the Rev. Father John M. Forbidussi as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township, Washington County, Pa.
