Dorothy M. Friend
Dorothy M. Friend, age 46, of Dunbar, Pa., died Wednesday, June 1, 2005, surrounded by loving family at her home.
She was born January 26, 1959, in Uniontown, Pa., to Thomas W. Friend Sr. of Uniontown, Pa., and the now late Evelyn Marie Friend.
In addition to her mother, a brother, Thomas W. Friend Jr., also preceded her in death.
Dorothy graduated from Laurel Highlands High School, Class of 1977, and was also a member of Cove Run Free Methodist Church.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a son, Thomas W. Friend of Uniontown; two daughters: Evelyn Landman and her husband, Michael, of Mount Braddock, Pa., and Bessie Friend of Dunbar; two grandchildren: Raymond B. Landman and Kairi M. Friend; and two brothers: Harry Ockrin Friend and his wife, Wendy, of Lambert, Pa., and Robert Earl Friend and his fiance?, Donna Knapp, of McClellandtown, Pa.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., where friends will be received today, Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Monday, June 6, 2005, from 10 until 11 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Yauger officiating.
Interment will follow in Thorpe Cemetery, Chalk Hill, Pa.
Visitation was also held Saturday, June 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
