Helen Machusko
Helen Machusko, age 97, of Hiller, Pa., died Thursday, June 2, 2005, in Haragos Personal Care Home, Uniontown, Pa.
She was born on May 10, 1908, in Bellefonte, Pa.
Helen was a member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Brownsville, Pa.
She was predeceased by her Husband, Andrew J. Machusko Sr., and Daughters, Virginia Lizanich and Eleanor Margheret. Helen was the last survivor of her immediate family of six.
She is survived by a Son, Andrew Machusko Sr. and his wife Janice, Brownsville, Pa.; eight Grandchildren: Dr. Frank Margheret, Carla and her husband James Reilly, Dan Margheret and his wife Janice, Tammy and her husband Joseph Fedele, Robert Lizanich and his wife Donna, Michael Lizanich and his wife Evelyn, Mauree and her husband William Krofina, and Sean Machusko and his wife Allison; and 11 Great-Grandchildren: Patrick Reilly, Danielle Margheret, Jonathan Margheret, Maria Fedele, Dominic Fedele, Anthony Fedele, Robert Lizanich, Kevin Lizanich, Kimberly Lizanich, Aaron Faith and Lillian Machusko.
The family extends much appreciation to a special friend and caregiver, Mary Jo Haragos, Uniontown, Pa.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday, June 6, at 10:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 11 a.m. in The Historic Church of Saint Peter in Brownsville, Pa., with the Rev. Father Vincent Gigliotti as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
The Partner Parishes of Saint Mary’s and Saint Peter will recite the Rosary in the Funeral Home on Sunday at 7 p.m.
