Nicholas “Nick” Vidovich, age 82, of 1110 South Rushmore, Leigh Acres, Florida 33936 died Friday, June 3, 2005, at 7:45 a.m. in Leigh Acres Regional Medical Center.

He was born January 6, 1923, in Gates, Fayette County, Pa., the son of Eli Vidovich and Ana (Gusoanovich) Vidovich.

“Nick” was a World War II United States Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion in Leigh Acres.

Before retiring to Florida he was employed for 25 years as a mold former for Foseco Company in Cleveland, Ohio.

Nick’s center of life was his loving wife, Dorothy Dillon Vidovich, whom he married on July 1, 1953, and his family.

In addition to his wife he is also survived by nieces and nephews: Linda Florkevich and her husband, Jerry, of Uniontown, Pa., Daniel Vidovich of Gates, Pa., Barbara Vidovich Trumka and her husband, Richard Trumka, of Rockville, Maryland, and John Vidovich and his wife, Lisa, of Morgantown, West Virginia.

“Nick” was preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers, John, Thomas and Paul Vidovich, and one sister, Ann Vidovich Luczak.

Family will receive friends in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church at 7 River Avenue, Masontown, Pa., today (Monday, June 6) from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Services will be held at 1 p.m. in the FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with John S. Maykuth Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pa., where Military Rites will be accorded by Masontown V.F.W. Post 4584 and Masontown American Legion Post 423.
