Drug arrest
Wesle Gaston, 30, of Pittsburgh was arrested at the D&B Bar Friday at 1:40 a.m. on a felony warrant for delivery of cocaine and a bench warrant, and was found in possession of suspected cocaine, state police said. The Washington County Sheriff’s office assisted in the arrest. He was placed in the Washington County Prison.

Theodore Walslesky of West Mifflin was charged with possession of cocaine and various traffic violations after a May 3 traffic stop, police said.

One-car accident
State police said Harley Lawver of Brownsville failed to negotiate a curve on Heisterburg Road Sunday at 4 a.m., traveled up a hillside, hit a tree and his car rolled on to its roof, state police said. He had minor injuries. The car was severely damaged.

Borough police said Mildred L. Schiffer, 44, of Monongahela hit and broke off a Verizon utility pole while traveling north on Pittsburgh Road Monday at 10:58 a.m. She was treated at Monongahela Valley Hospital. The accident is under investigation.

City police said Kimberly Dennis, 17, of Uniontown swerved to avoid hitting a dog, but struck a small cement wall at 198 Wilson Ave. Monday at 10:34 p.m. She refused medical treatment, police said.

Two signs were damaged in a one-vehicle accident on Dally Road in Long Branch Wednesday at 7:28 a.m. According to the Southwest Regional police, a vehicle driven by William C. Burkley, 58, of Charleroi, left the roadway and collided with two signs. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

According to state police, Kimberly Throckmorton of Waynesburg suffered minor injuries when the vehicle she was driving rolled over four times along Randy Hodge Road Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Man cited with DUI
Southwest Regional police cited Thomas W. Fiffick, 50, of 14 Pacific Blvd., Monessen, for driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 906 in Belle Vernon. Charges were filed with Magisterial District Judge Jesse Cramer in Belle Vernon. The incident occurred Thursday at 12:57 a.m.

Attempted theft
Sometime between midnight and 8 a.m. on Wednesday, someone tried to steal an Articat jet ski owned by Domenick Ottoviani of 608 Second St., Newell. The cable and hook used to reel the jet ski on to its trailer had been cut and was missing. No other damage was discovered. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Southwest Regional police at 724-929-8484.

Harassment
Southwest Regional police cited Sheena A. Walker, 18, of 318 Highland Manor, Monessen, for harassment, disorderly conduct and giving false identification to a police officer. The charges stem from an incident May 25 at 7:52 p.m. in which Walker allegedly harassed Jamie Wergin, 34, of 12 Johnston St., Belle Vernon at Wergin’s home. Charges were filed with Magisterial District Judge Jesse Cramer.

Fountain stolen
Bonnie Pritts, of 324 Greys Lane, Brownsville told police that someone took a 4 to 5-foot tall black and green water fountain from in front of her house.

Money missing
Rosilyn Bell, of 79 South Hills Terrace, told Brownsville police that $1,591 in three bags belonging to the Dunlap Lodge 214 of the Elks was missing from under the seat of a car she had borrowed.
Bell reported to police that someone known to her picked the car up without permission the morning of May 28.
She later located the car parked at Mon Valley Hospital, but the money was missing. The incident was reported to police May 28 at 6:35 p.m.
The case is under investigation by the Brownsville police.

State police said vehicles operated by Douglas Scott, 27, of Sycamore and James McCracken, 69, of Waynesburg collided along Route 21 near the Greene County Fairgrounds May 29 at 3:21 p.m.

A window was broken at 504 Pearl St. May 29 at 10:46 p.m. A group of juveniles had been seen in the area, but there were no witnesses to the incident.

Cars collide
State police said vehicles operated by Ernest Lint, 80, of Carmichaels and Heidi Tharp, 26, of Waynesburg collided along Route 188 Friday at 5:10 p.m.
Lint and passenger Burnadette Lint, 79, of Carmichaels, as well as Tharp and passenger Joey Dickey, 5, of Waynesburg suffered injuries in the crash, according to police.
