State police said charges of harassment were filed against Joshua Hayhurst, 24, of Uniontown and Rachel Brangard, 22, of New Salem after the two engaged in a physical altercation at a Village of Searights home Monday at 3:13 p.m.

Cars collide
State police said vehicles operated by Ernest Lint, 80, of Carmichaels and Heidi Tharp, 26, of Waynesburg collided along Route 188 Friday at 5:10 p.m. Lint and passenger Burnadette Lint, 79, of Carmichaels as well as Tharp and passenger Joey Dickey, 5, of Waynesburg suffered injuries in the crash.
