Genevieve Ludrosky
Genevieve Ludrosky, 76, of Carmichaels, Pa., died Monday, June 6, 2005, at her home, after a lengthy illness. She was born Oct. 21, 1928, in Nemacolin, Pa., daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Kurtik) Buday.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, who she married on July 1, 1950, and who died in 1988; a daughter, Candace M. Ludrosky; a son, Joseph Jr.; three brothers, John, Joseph Jr., and Stephen Buday; and sisters, Mary Los, Mary Vrona, J. Kurik and Catherine Helsik.
She was a member of St. Hugh Church of Carmichaels.
Surviving are the following children, Charlotte Ward (James) of Carmichaels, and David Ludrosky and wife, Patricia of Carmichaels; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Buday of the State of Montana and Thomas Buday of Greensburg, Pa.; three sisters, Loretta Los of Scenery Hill, Pa., Dorothy Nixon of McClellandtown, Pa., and Phylis Helmick of Tucson, Ariz.; and a daughter-in-law, Bertha Ludrosky.
Friends may be received in the PAUL M. LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Carmichaels, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday until 9:30 a.m., the hour of a prayer service, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in St. Hugh Church, with the Rev. Fr. John Bauer as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery of Leckrone, Pa.
