Uniontown Rotelli’s opens
Rotelli Pizza & Pasta, one of the fastest growing casual Italian restaurant chains in the country, has announced the opening of a new restaurant in Uniontown at 90 Pittsburgh St., Uniontown, in what was the former Pennsylvania Railroad train station.
Local owner is Galileo Development, a company operated by George and Dr. Cathleen Lizza. Bob Andrews and Ray Curley are the area developers for Rotelli Pizza & Pasta in western Pennsylvania.
Rotelli Pizza & Pasta is a franchised, neighborhood-based restaurant chain with more than 30 operating locations across the country.
The opening of the Uniontown restaurant follows the opening of Pennsylvania Rotelli Pizza & Pasta restaurants in Pittsburgh, Robinson, Wexford, Brentwood, Bridgeville, Mt. Lebanon, Fox Chapel and Harmarville.
Over the next several months, additional Rotelli Pizza & Pasta restaurants will open in Pittsburgh, State College, Monroeville and Murrysville.
Andrews and Curley anticipate 30 Rotelli Pizza & Pasta restaurants operating in the western area of the state over the next five years.
“All of our restaurants in Pennsylvania have done well and have become very popular with families which has reaffirmed our conviction that Rotelli Pizza & Pasta can be the leading casual Italian restaurant chain in the market,” Curley said. “We look forward to continued strong expansion of Rotelli Pizza & Pasta throughout neighborhoods across Pennsylvania.”
The new Uniontown Rotelli Pizza & Pasta offers pizza, pasta, salads, subs and other traditional Italian fare as well as more contemporary menu items such as wraps, chicken, veal and other dishes created specifically to complete the Rotelli menu. Congelio honored
Local State Farm Insurance agent Frank Congelio has been named to the State Farm Chairman’s Circle. The Chairman’s Circle has been designed to recognize agents who align their agencies with the long-term direction of State Farm and act as advocates for the customer and the company.
This award is significant in that Congelio joins a group of 38 State Farm agents out of a statewide force of 700 plus agents in Pennsylvania who are being recognized as Chairman’s Circle agents. This recognition resulted in Congelio being invited to attend the chairman’s sponsored annual meeting and education seminars, receive the Chairman’s Circle Award to display, and to be invited to participate in special zone and corporate committees in an advisory capacity.
