Bette J. Keller Anderson, age 78, formerly of South Connellsville, Pa., died Friday, June 10, 2005, in her residence at Laurel Ridge Center, Uniontown, Pa.

She was born January 13, 1927, in Connellsville, Pa., daughter of Roy Keller and Harriet Ellen Timms Keller.

She graduated in the Class of 1945 from the now former Redstone High School in Republic, Pa.

Bette was retired from the now former Anchor Hocking Corporation in South Connellsville where she was employed for 32 years.

She was an over 50-year member of the Women’s Life Insurance Society.

Bette served as a volunteer at Highlands Hospital, Connellsville, in the Snack Bar.

She was a longtime member of Albright United Methodist Church, South Connellsville.

Bette was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, James T. Anderson, and one sister, Garnett Keller McCracken.

She is survived by one daughter, Ellen and her husband, James Borris, of Farmington, Pa.; two granddaughters: Amy Borris Rummel and her husband, Bill Rummel, of South Connellsville and Jayme Borris of Farmington; three great grandchildren: Ciarra Bush, Stephen Bush and Camryn Rummel; and a special brother-in-law, Clarence N. McCracken.

Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 EAST GREEN STREET, CONNELLSVILLE, Pa., today from 2 to 9 p.m. where Services will be held Tuesday, June 14, at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Byron Tate Fulton officiating.

Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
