June 25, 2005 Terence Jackson, 41, who will give testimony at a special program on drug and alcohol abuse Sunday at St. Paul’s African Methodist Episcopal Church in Uniontown, will sing and will speak about his faith and how it helped him succeed as the state record-holder in the high jump. Jackson is not a recovered drug user, as was indicated in an article in Thursday’s edition. The Herald-Standard apologizes for the error.

A classic car/truck show will take place on the grounds of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 180 Old Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown, on Sunday, July 24, with registration between 1 and 3:30 p.m. It was incorrectly reported in Friday’s Weekend Scene that the show would take place today. The Herald-Standard apologizes for the error.
