Betty J. Bufano Showman, age 75 years, of Monarch, Pa., died Saturday, June 25, 2005, in Integrated Health System of Greater Pittsburgh at Greensburg, Pa.

She was born January 20, 1930, in Dunbar, Pa., daughter of Albert Bufano and Hazel McWilliams Bufano.

Betty was a retired Looper from the now former Gallet Knitting Mill in Uniontown, Pa.

She attended The Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Connellsville, Pa.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William E. Showman (Friday, August 1, 2003), a sister, LaVern Bufano Wilson, and a brother, Albert Bufano.

She is survived by her children: Karen Showman and Sharon and her husband, Patrick Wallace, all of Lemont Furnace, Pa., William Showman Jr. of Brownsville, Pa., and Tami and her husband, Ken McLaughlin, of Connellsville, Pa.; sisters and brothers: Laura Goodsight and her husband, William, of Gettysburg, Pa., Stanley Bufano and his wife, Charlotte, of Virginia, Glenda McLaughlin and her husband, Ronald, of Connellsville, Pa., and Jim Bufano and his wife, Joyce, of Dunbar, Pa.; four grandchildren: Christine, Patrick, Justin and Craig; and three great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from Noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 29, until 11 a.m. when a Funeral Service will be held with Pastor James Turnbull officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Dunbar, Pa.
