Vernon Eugene Noakes
Vernon Eugene Noakes, 64 years, of Fairchance, Pa., died Saturday, February 26, 2005, in Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. He was born April 18, 1940, in Markleysburg, Pa., son of Annis Elizabeth Bowden Noakes and the now late Walter Eugene Noakes.
He is survived by his mother, Annis Noakes of Point Marion, Pa.; four children: Kimberly Sutton and husband, Lindsay Sutton, and grandson, Lindsay Sutton Jr., all of Smithfield, Pa., David Noakes, Allen Noakes and Gina Noakes and their children; two step-children: Robert Noakes, Smithfield, Pa., and Jodi Noakes, Amend, Pa.; brother, Lloyd Noakes, Uniontown, Pa.; and his former wives: Helen Hardin Noakes and Marie Noakes.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., Tuesday, March 1, 2005, from 9 a.m. until 12 Noon, the hour of Service with Pastor Robert Warholak officiating.
Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance.
