Jessica Locke is the daughter of Suzanne Locke of Grindstone. She is a senior at Brownsville Area High School. Her activities include Interact, board of directors her junior and senior year, Mock Trial, Student Council and was a member of the tennis team.
She is treasurer of the National Honor Society, editor for the French National Honor Society and vice president for FBLA. She was also chosen for “Who’s Who Among American High School Students.”
She has volunteered at Kids’ Korner Day Care Center. Through Interact, she is a part of “Rotary’s Reading Around the Town” and light-up night. She also holds a part-time job at a restaurant.
Locke is a participant for making donations to the Peace Corps through the French Honor Society. She has coordinated time and effort to give gifts and spend time to the special needs class at Brownsville High School. She will be going to competition for FBLA in public speaking. The state project is Special Olympics.
In the fall, she plans on attending college to major in communications.
