Louise M. Ventura Orsolini, age 96, of Daisytown, Pa., died Friday, March 4, 2005. She was born January 16, 1909, in Daisytown, Pa., daughter of Rocca Ventura and Vincenza (Martin) Ventura.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Marino Orsolini (1981), one grandson, Emidio Orsolini Jr., five brothers, Eugene, Arthur, James, Joseph and Dominic Ventura, and three sisters, Albina Peluso, Vivian Koval and Pasqua Baldasarri.

Let to cherish her memory are a son, Emidio Orsolini and his wife, Anastasia “Nellie” of Chesterton, Indiana; a daughter, Joanna and her husband, Ed Glab, of California, Pa.; and a sister, Mary Ventura of Daisytown, Pa. She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Christina Orsolini, Debra Orsolini, Jeffery Orsolini, Monique Orsolini, David Glab and his wife Darlene, and Edwin “Chip” Glab and his wife Leann; five Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild.

Friend will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., on Sunday, March 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, March 7, until 12 Noon when a Blessing Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 12:30 p.m. in Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Daisytown, with the Rev. Father John E. Forbidussi as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center, Pa.
