Emet Charles Diamond Jr., age 71, of 210 Bowman Avenue, Masontown, PA 15461 died Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 1:15 p.m. in his home.

He was born May 7, 1933, in Masontown, Pa., son of Emet Diamond Sr. and Minnie (Bufano) Diamond.

Emet was a Farmer who owned and operated Diamond Farm in Masontown.

He was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Masontown.

Emet was predeceased by his parents, a son, Emet Diamond III, two brothers, William and Rudy Diamond, and two sisters, Pearl Stronko and Stella Tomasik.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Franchi Diamond, whom he married June 7, 1958; two daughters: Lottie and her husband, Chris Delsignore, of Monroeville, Pa., and Adele and her husband, Joseph Siba, of Masontown, Pa.; a grandson, Christopher Delsignore; granddaughters: Lauren Delsignore, Alexandria Siba and Hailey Siba; a sister, (Evelyn Diamond) Sister Karen Diamond, R.S.M., of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and his mother-in-law, Antoinette (Bevelacqua) Franchi of Masontown, Pa.

Family will receive Friends in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR. FUNERAL HOME, Corner of Church on 7 River Avenue, Masontown, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 8, until 9:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.

A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 10 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, with the Rev. Father James F. Bump as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint Agnes Cemetery, Masontown, Pa.

Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Monday evening.
