Sharon Ankrom, 44, of Waynesburg, Pa., died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at the West University Medical Center in Morgantown, W.Va., from injuries received in a traffic accident on Saturday, March 5, 2005. Sharon was the secretary at Waynesburg Central High School for the past 24 years, where she was a friend to all.

Surviving are her father, James A. Rush of Spartanburg, S.C.; two daughters, Amanda Ankrom, 22, and Dawn Ankrom, 17 and one son, Joel Ankrom, 18, all at home; her paternal grandmother, Marian Rush of Waynesburg; three sisters, Lori Bedilion of Spartanburg, S.C., Joni Garrett of Lyman, S.C., and Rebecca Rush of Greenville, S.C.; and one brother, James Rush of Spraggs.

Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m., at Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 12, 2005, at the First Baptist Church, 303 West High St., Waynesburg.
