Anna M. Shamrock
Anna M. Shamrock, 86, of West Leisenring, Pa., died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born July 29, 1918, in Leisenring #1, Pa., daughter of Joseph and Barbara Paluf.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John J. Shamrock, Jr.; sisters, Frances Buco and Mary Warzinski; and brother, Joseph Paluf.
Anna had been a lifetime member of St. Polycarp Roman Catholic Church, member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and is a member of St. Vincent De Paul Roman Catholic Church.
A wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, her gentle spirit will always be remembered and sadly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are three children, Patti Shamrock of West Leisenring, Pa., Bernard Shamrock of Seattle, Wash. and Barbara Ann Moyer and husband Lee of West Leisenring, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Debbie Bowers, Denise Stewart, Donnie Bowers, Dana Bowers, Brent Shamrock, Lisa Raffle and Leann Moyer; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC., a Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, March 12, 2005, until 10:15 a.m., when prayers of transfer will be said. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul R.C. Church with the Rev. Fr. J. Edward McCullough as celebrant.
