Sherry L. Ross Stroko, age 50, of West Leisenring, Pa., passed away Monday, March 14, 2005, after a long battle with diabetes with her loving family at her bedside.

She was born on March 11, 1955, in Washington, Pa., daughter of Robert Ross and JoAnn Merashoff Ross.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Ross, and two sisters, JoAnn Smith and Patricia Stutzman.

Sherry was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her husband, Joseph J. Stroko; a daughter, Rena Stroko of Uniontown, Pa.; a son, Joseph S. Stroko and his fianc?e, Amy Kaider, of Lemont Furnace, Pa.; three Grandsons: Trent Crayton, Jarrett Crayton and Noah Crayton; six sisters and one brother: Corrine Nichols of Marienville, Pa., Maureen Sharratt of Washington, Pa., Bonnie Groover of Scenery Hill, Pa., Shawn Urcho of Bentleyville, Pa., Deidre Palmer of Fredericktown, Pa., Tracey Corazzi of Beallsville, Pa., and Mark Ross of Ovida, Florida; her mother-in-law, Huldah Stroko of West Leisenring, Pa.; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 136 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., this evening from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, March 17, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Services will begin at 10 a.m. with her husband’s brother, Tom Stroko, officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
