George Seese Munson
George Seese Munson, 77, of Connellsville, Pa., passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at his home. He was born Sept. 2, 1927, in Connellsville, a son of the late James C. and Sara Seese Munson Jr.
George was a graduate of Connellsville High School with the Class of 1945. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army of Occupation in Germany. After the war, he received a Bachelors Degree from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla. Upon graduation, George married Martha Jane Higbee and moved to Orlando, Fla. George was retired from his position as President and Founder of Munson and Associates Heating and Air Conditioning Company, in Orlando, Fla.
George was a 54-year member of King Solomon’s Lodge F&AM in Connellsville, and other Masonic organizations. He was also a member of Connellsville B.P.O. Elks No. 503.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Jane Higbee Munson and a brother, Fred Munson.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marcella Ringer Pastors Munson; his children: a son, George D. Munson and his wife, Wendy of Winter Garden, Fla.; his daughters, Jane Singleton and her husband, Woody of Kissimmee, Fla., and Marsee Gay Perkins and her husband, Michael of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren, Krystle and Johnny Singleton, both of Kissimmee, Fla.; two stepsons, Greg Pastors and his wife, Kerry of Connellsville, and David Pastors and his wife, Cathy of Cleveland, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Marianne Rockwell and her husband, Ben of Youngwood, and Trisha Hough and her husband, Keith of Smithton; 10 step-grandchildren; and his brother, Robert Munson of Connellsville..
