Elsie Mae Detrick Show
Elsie Mae Detrick Show, age 81, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born February 3, 1924, in Friendsville, Maryland, daughter of John Detrick and Mary Burgess Detrick.
Elsie had been a member of The Ladies Auxiliary of the Hopwood Volunteer Fire Department.
She he was predeceased by her husband, Clayton D. Show in 1981, her parents, and two brothers and a sister, Charles Detrick, Bertha Casteel and Lawrence Detrick.
Surviving are three children: Clayton David Show of Hopwood, Pa., Carol L. Cox of New Cumberland, Pa., and Deborah Besmen of Silver Spring, Maryland; six grandchildren: Jeffrey Cooley, Lori L. Brill, Scott Kapel, Erich Besmen, Christopher Besmen and Ashley Show; three great-grandchildren; and these brothers and sisters: Floyd Detrick of Oakland, Maryland, Robert Detrick of Friendsville, Maryland, Nellie Hixon of Cleveland, Ohio, Blanche Myers of Ponta Gorda, Florida, Iva Wiltrout of Uniontown, Pa., Ivan Wolfe of Tunnelton, West Virginia, and Dorothy Lazaran of Bethelboro, Uniontown, Pa.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME , Hopwood, Pa., today (Saturday, March 19) until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hopwood Volunteer Fire Department, Hopwood, PA 15445.
Visitation was also held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
